- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth, KS intends to issue solicitation RFQP04081100012, for the requirements of: 2nd Quarter Subsistence FY 11. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Business, FOB Destination, delivery dates will begin 15 days from the date of award. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary,1300 Metropolitan Ave, Leavenworth, KS. This is a fill or kill solicitation, meaning that successful quoters receiving award documents will ship all of the awarded items in one shipment no later than 30 days from the date of award. Orders that are shipped incomplete or partially will be refused at no cost to the Government. Any contract awarded will be a firm fixed price type. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 25, 2011, and will be posted to the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies will not be distributed. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is February 15, 2011 by 13:00 hrs, Central Standard Time.
