Description

The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, MCAS Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. 1930 South Vineyard Avenue Ontario CA 91761, (Cage Code 12705). Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East Support Team, MCAS Cherry Point, NC intends to procure Rectifer P/N 2006378-1, twelve (12) each, Connector Bracket P/N 1166075-1, six (6) each, Cover Assy P/N 1166108-1, four (4) each, Spacer Switch P/N 1168300-1, six (6) each, Clamp Lamp P/N 1161538-1, four (4) each, Dummy Receptacle P/N 2015688, six (6) each, Lamp Mount P/N 1161503-1, four (4) each, Vibration Isolator P/N 1161701, four (4) each, Handle P/N 1161675-1, six (6) each as required to fulfill the Government ™s requirement. The sole manufacturer of the aircraft parts is BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
