Description
DOL Wage Determinations for Prince George's County, MD. Supplemental Terms and Conditions Statement of Work (SOW) Standard Form (SF) 18 RFQ Letter The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Cheltenham, Maryland is posting a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Role Player Services as a total small business set-aside under the $13.5 million dollar size standard for the 561320 NAICS code. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FLETC is interested in developing a Role Playing program staffed with qualified personnel that can provide practical exercise participation by qualified role players for its Infrastructure Protection Officer Training Program (IPOTP) and other training programs scheduled at the Cheltenham facility. These exercises shall be varied and targeted for law enforcement personnel as directed on a case-by-case basis and represent real-life scenarios in order to prepare entry-level recruits to meet the challenges they might face in the application of their responsibilities as law enforcement officers. It is estimated that multiple role playing classes will be scheduled during each of the next five years. FLETC anticipates two classes for the first year and a minimum of 1840 man hours and a maximum of 4600 man hours of role playing services, a minimum of 96 man hours and a maximum of 192 man hours of training, and a minimum of 260 man hours and a maximum of 650 man hours of supervisory services over each subsequent option period. The number of classes to be scheduled will vary according to agency demand. Please see the Statement of Work (SOW) for a more in-depth description of requirements. However, due to operational security concerns, the actual role player scenarios will only be provided upon award. Interested businesses having the capabilities to provide these services are requested to submit a proposal that speaks to the requirements in the SOW, company capabilities and past performance. Please refer to the RFQ Letter and additional attachments for more specific information regarding this RFQ and submission details. All responses must be received via email no later than 4:00 pm (EST) on February 25, 2011. If you have any questions, please contact Contracting Officer Tara Murphy via email at Tara.Murphy@associates.dhs.gov. The deadline for the submission of questions is Wednesday February 16, 2011, 3:00 pm EST.
