- Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) and the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) are issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gain information International Distributed Programs and Outreach Initiatives competitive rebid effort to occur during FY11. The objective of this RFI is to facilitate NAVICP s Contracting Officer s determination of the market base to facilitate a decision regarding acquisition strategy (set-aside, unrestricted, or limited source). Scope: The Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA is engaged in a variety of international distributed programs and outreach activities to service a Department of Defense (DoD), federal government, and international customer base. The primary purpose of the NPS International Distributed Programs and Outreach initiatives is to provide representation, facilitation, and administrative and facilities support for all NPS faculty, international programs, activities and interests outside of the local Monterey, California area. The scope of this work will include a wide-range of functions to market, coordinate and support NPS international distributed programs and outreach, including programs initiated by NPS in its capacity as the United States Partnership for Peace Training and Education Center (USPTC). These services shall support international distributed programs and outreach efforts in carrying out the NPS mission of providing global access to NPS education and research through the goals and objectives of the DoN, DoD, COCOMs, federal agencies, international partners, and sponsors. These efforts are all in support of the research and educational programs conducted by NPS. For the purpose of this statement of work, the support requirement will be termed international outreach/USPTC initiatives. NAVICP will be utilizing the NAVICP eProcurement email box/communication tool, for document exchange and receipt of submissions. Please contact the NAVICP Contract Specialist, Andrew.R.Clarke@navy.mil, or ryan.mcgowan@navy.mil to receive access to the NAVICP eProcurement tool to review PWS for this requierment. All submissions will be received in the NAVICP eProcurement system. All RFI submissions from respondents must be submitted via the NAVICP eProcurement tool no later than COB Friday February 25, 2011. Respondents are encouraged to provide recommendations to improve the PWS or recommend strategies, but no questions will be entertained at this time. All interested parties will be notified when the Solicitation is released at a later date. We will answer all questions at that time.
