- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood intends to award a sole source purchase order to Beckwith Electronic Engineering Company, 5050 Beckwith Blvd, San Antonio, TX for the following: an expansion of an existing infant protection system (HUGS). It is essential that the hardware/software configuration, functionality and technical support for this requirement be compatible with the infant protection system currently in use. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, Test Program for Commercial Items as implemented in FAR 13.501 (a)(1)(ii) using NAICS code 561621 with a small business size standard of 12.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 15 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
