- Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Q1524115741Supply and Deliver Pre-Cast Concrete Picnic Tables (1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (2) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Submit written proposals referencing document number Q1524115741 in accordance with the instructions in this announcement (3) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-49. (4) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 327390. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (5) This combined solicitation synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item: Supply and deliver pre-cast concrete picnic tables in accordance with specifications included herein (6) Description of requirement is as follows: Specifications for accessible concrete picnic tables. 1. Pre-cast reinforced concrete.2.Concrete mix to be a seven sack mix.3.Each concrete plank needs to have 2 pieces of #4 rebar evenly spaced inside the planks. 4. Table length to be 8'.5. Table width to be 3'.6. Seats to be 6' long and height to be 20" -22".7.Table top and seat planks to be between 2 " - 3 " thick. 8. Table to comply with ADAAG guidelines for wheelchair seating at one end.9. Tabletop to be plank wood appearance and consist of three planks.10. Center tabletop plank to have four stainless steel sleeves installed to accept " x " screws (see drawing). These will be used to mount a small sign to the table. The sign will be provided and installed by the NPS after delivery.11. Table seats to be plank wood appearance and consist of one plank.12. Color to be two tone dyed cement with table top and seats being (Davis color) Sequoia Sand and the legs being (Davis color) Kailua.13.National Park Service logo to be cast in 3D on outside of both legs (reverse image wood mold/template to be supplied by NPS).14.The reverse image logo is 6" high, 5" wide at the widest point, and approximately " deep.15.All concrete to be sealed with a matte finish.16." bolts are acceptable and must be recessed of flush with the surface of the table top and bench planks.17.Tables are to be delivered assembled, squared and tightened.18. Price to include delivery to two locations in Estes Park, Co 80517. 60 at Aspenglen Campground and 70 at Moraine Park Campground (See attached map). 19.Total number of tables is 130.20.Delivery date by May 11, 2011. (7) There are two delivery locations:: 60 to be delivered to Aspenglen Campground, and 70 to be delivered to Moraine Park Campground. Rocky Mountain National Park, 1000 Hwy 36Estes Park, CO 80517 (8) Tables to be delivered by May 11, 2011 to the locations listed above. (9) FAR 52.212.-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Sept 2006) applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include their 3 most recent past performance references for supplying and delivering similar products, as well as measured drawings and/or pictures of proposed product. Successful offeror must be registered at the following websites before an award can be made: www.ccr.gov; and https://orca.bpn.gov. Please include company's DUNS number in proposal. Award will be made to the lowest quote from a responsible small business whose product and delivery meets the specifications and requirements listed herein. (11) The offeror shall submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Nov 2006) with its quote. The Buy American Act applies to this requirement. Offerors shall clearly identify any products to be used in the performance of this contract that are not manufactured in the United States. (12) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial items (Feb 2007) applies to this acquisition. (13) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (Jun 2007) applies to this acquisition.
