- AXIOM-AMWSE BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Space Vehicles Directorate (RV) at Kirtland AFB NM, is conducting a Briefing For Industry to present two concepts being considered for its next major space flight experiment, the Advanced eXperiment in Orbital Manipulation (AXIOM) and the Advanced Missile Warning Sensors Experiment (AMWSE). AXIOM-AMWSE BRIEFING FOR INDUSTRY (BFI) INFORMATION: Date: 8-9 March 2011 Place: Kirtland AFB, NM BFI OBJECTIVE: This BFI is being held in anticipation of the planned release of an AFRL/RV BAA. This BFI will kick off the morning of 8 March with a general informational brief on how AFRL/RV conducts space flight experiments. This will be followed by two additional sessions, one for each concept, where technical information and programmatic milestones will be provided. On 9 March, individual sessions will be scheduled, by request, to allow interested parties to meet with the Government. Further agenda information will be provided to registered parties. REGISTRATION AND VISIT REQUEST: Pre-Registration and an approved visit request for this BFI is mandatory. Persons not pre-registered and pre-approved will not be allowed to attend. Attendees will be required to show government-issued identification at the BFI check-in and again to attend the individual sessions. Registration is limited to persons that are US citizens, with at least a US SECRET clearance. Due to space limitations, registration for the 8 March presentations is limited to two people from each company. Up to six people from each company may attend the 9 March individual sessions. Each company should register their employees for this event by providing registration information to the Administrative POC, Ms. Amy Givens. Provide the following information for all attendees: Title, Full Name, Preferred Name, Company/Organization, Title/Position, Full Address, Phone, and Email Address to Ms. Givens at Amy.Givens.ctr@kirtland.af.mil. Each company should submit their visit request (see DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) Paragraph 6-103) to the security POCs, Mr. Steve Lucero or Lt Kelly Cole. Visit requests must be faxed to (505) 846-3551. Visit requests should contain the following information: (1) Company's name, address, and telephone number, assigned CAGE Code, and, if applicable, level of facility security clearance; (2) Name, date, and place of birth, and citizenship of the employee(s) planning to visit; (3) Employee(s) clearance level; (4) Purpose of visit: RV AXIOM-AMWSE Briefing for Industry, and (5) Date(s) each employee plans to visit. Confirm receipt of visit request by phone. Registration requests and visit requests should be received no later than 1700 MST 3 March 2011. Registration will be confirmed by COB 4 March 2011. LOCATION: This BFI will take place at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland AFB, NM.
