- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. THIS IS NOT A SOLICIATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSAL AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT This sources sought market research tool is issued for the purpose of determining set aside options for this future procurement. Under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811310, with a size standard of $7.0 million, the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System has a requirement for a maintenance contract for our new Wind Turbine. Contractor to provide all required maintenance during the warranty period for the Elecon T600-48DS wind turbine at the campus of the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System, in St. Cloud Minnesota. The maintenance will have to be in accordance with the manufacturer's Operations and Maintenance manual. This maintenance is quite extensive and involves various inspections and maintenance at 3-months, 6-months, and 12-months. All small businesses are encouraged to respond. Interested small businesses shall submit detailed capability information on contracts they consider relevant in demonstrating their ability to perform all requirements of this work. Submissions to include: 1) Firm name, address, e-mail, point of contact, telephone and fax number 2) Small business certification-8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran Owned or Woman-owned 3) Past Experience-describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this sources sought. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be no longer than 2-pages and either mailed to: Department of Veterans Affairs (RM-90C), Attention: Melanie Stockman, 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud MN 56303-2099 OR emailed to: Melanie.stockman@va.gov no later than March 3, 2011.
