One accessible elevator may serve as a freight elevator. • The space must be contiguous on a single floor in a secure, single envelope of space. • Easy access to the public transportation and amenities is preferred. Buildings offered for consideration must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as contemporary with the ability to demonstrate meeting all current Federal/GSA-PBS, State and local codes and regulations including but not limited to fire and life safety, free of asbestos, accessibility Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) compliant or, if not, landlord must be willing to make the building fully ABAAS compliant. The building also needs to be capable of being fully accessible to the physically challenged, meets OSHA requirements, must be seismic compliant, and is located outside a 100-year floodplain.
