Description

Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, licenses, supervision, etc. necessary for the site prep of a new PET-CT Suite, in the Nuclear Medicine department, at the New York Harbor Healthcare System, Brooklyn Campus, under project number 630A4-10-436, in accordance with the provided contract drawings and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition of existing, construction of new Nuclear Medicine suite, installation of new ductwork, mechanical system, electrical system, sprinkler system, plumbing system, medical gas system, millwork, casework and performing asbestos abatement.. To minimize the impact on the daily operation of the medical center, this project will be phased; and depending on patient occupancy, certain work will have to be done after hours and on weekends only. All work is in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. This construction project is a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The project cost range (base bid) is between $2,000,000 - $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 M applies. This is a Sealed Bid Procurement. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation, posted on www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 15, 2011. The bid submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all bid submissions shall be in hardcopies. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for re-visiting the website located at www.fedbizopps.gov periodically, to look for updates. All requests for information are required to be submitted no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening, in writing to the Contracting Officer. NO hardcopies will be distributed; NO telephone inquiries will be responded to; and NO verbal questions will be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
