- Project Coordination and Monitoring for Global Disease Detection/International Emerging Infections Program (GDD/IEIP) Performance Work Statement Objective: To provide project coordination services for Thailand's GDD/IEIP program. Period: 4/2/11 - 12/30/11 Activities and Deliverables: 1. To ensure effective planning, coordination, and implementation of projects and activities of IEIP/GDD Program. Projects include: coordinate trainings and plan key meetings and events. Deliverables: a. Monitor Thailand-US CDC (TUC) Cooperative Agreement activities: attend Project Implementation Meetings, and prepare report highlighting issues, concerns, and recommendations (3 reports for the following periods April-June, July-Sept, and Oct-Dec). Reports are due within a month of the reporting period end date. b. Coordinate program retreat in June 2011: develop agenda and coordinate logistics planning. c. Coordinate Thai NIH visit to CDC Atlanta: develop visit objectives, agenda and book meetings. d. Coordinate safety training program for TUC: organize a safety committee, prepare safety plan, and prepare report highlighting deficiencies and recommendations. e. Attend and prepare notes from Biosafety Committee monthly meetings (April - Dec) 2. To implement program monitoring and evaluation (M&E activities). Deliverables: a. Collect and collate M&E data from GDD/IEIP program sections b. Maintain M&E database and submit reports by April 15, July 15, and Oct 15 - in required format c. Facilitate integration of M&E into program design, support standardization and consistency of M&E activities, and advise CDC regarding continuous M&E process development/improvement, M&E indicators, tools and instruments, and how to enhance programs and activities to achieve measurable outcomes. 3. Develop effective methods for reporting program accomplishments and advocating for program goals and recognition. Assist in responding to CDC headquarters, national and international partners' requests for information on past accomplishments and current activities. Collaborate with TUC communications specialists on relevant programmatic achievements for reporting and publications. Deliverables: a. Provide detailed M&E data and coordinate writing of stories and reports as requested. Payment method: Biweekly Performance Dates: This scope of work will commence on April 2, 2011 and continue through December 30, 2011. It is expected that these activities will be conducted in Bangkok, Thailand. Any interested companies are welcome to send their proposal via e-mail, dvv1@cdc.gov.
