Description
Cover Notice for Delivery of Proposals Cover Notice for Delivery of Proposals 1) the existing doors are to be preserved and pinned in the open position (per SOW and documents) 2) General Requirements 010000, page 2 does list the other Options; this project is Option #3 3) Hours of work are determined by the Library on a case by case basis. For purposes of developing this proposal night work hours shall be 8:00 pm through 6:00 am Monday -Thursday. Acess to the exterior of the building at exits currently used as fire exits on the Independence Ave. and the Third Street side will be availabe for all pre-scheduled work after 4:30 pm on Friday through the weekend and holidays through 6:00 am Monday should have 24 hour access as approved by the Contracting Officer Technical Representative, (COTR). 4) The custom bronze pull is described on sheet 104-3. 5) The AOC will be responsible for the stone step and all required stone work related to this project. 6) Attached is a cover page regarding notice on sending in the proposal for this project. 7) The Statement of work shall take precedence over other supporting specifications and drawings as stated in FAR 52.214-29 Order of Precedence - Sealed Bidding (JAN 1986) that shall apply to this project. The Statement of Work states that the AOC will provide temporary construction barricades and that shall take precedence over any statements in the General Requirement specifications. 8) The date for responses to this project has been extended to March 9, 2011 and will not be extended further at this time.
