- Verification of Degree Form Reference Form Qualifications Application Form Evaluation Criteria Statement of Work Peace Corps (PC) seeks experienced licensed and nationally certified physician to serve as a Regional Medical Officer stationed in South Africa. See attached Statement of Work for complete description of responsibilities. Required Qualifications: Physician No unfavorable actions related to medical malpractice, state license, clinical privileges, etc in National Practitioner Data Bank. Security background clearance. A background security investigation will be required. The contract award will be subject to the contractor's successful completion of a background security investigation. Physically fit to work in an overseas environment. The contract award will be subject to the contractor passing a physical examination. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration before being awarded a Federal Government contract. Registration can be accomplished at www.ccr.gov **Peace Corps requires that RMOs have and maintain a current, active license to practice at the level of their credentials. Desired qualifications: Work schedule and travel flexibility. Application Requirements: 1. All applicants must arrange to have the following additional documents sent to Peace Corps: Three confidential professional references submitted directly from the issuing individual. (Form attached) Primary source verification of professional school attended submitted directly from the issuing institution.
