- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Precision Strike Weapons - PMA-201, intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, for the acquisition of a Software Licensing Agreement for Advanced Harpoon Weapon Control System (AHWCS) software for the Encapsulated Harpoon Command Launch System (EHCLS) III in support of Foreign Military Sales. The contract to be awarded will be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPALS. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for written information will be disregarded. A determination by the government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with The Boeing Company at the following address: The Boeing Company, Attention: Jacqueline Jones, P. O. Box 416, Bldg 270, Mail Code S270-2500, St. Louis, MO 63146. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award is registration in the DOD's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
