Description
Boot, Extreme Cold Weather (Mukluk) SPM1C1-11-R-0031 Boot, Extreme Cold Weather (Mukluk), Quantity: Minimum: 972 Pr; Maximum: 13,320 with four term options. Option 1-Minimum: 972 Pr; Maximum: 13,320 Option 2- Minimum: 972 Pr; Maximum: 13,320, Option 3-Minimum: 972 Pr; Maximum: 13,320, Option 4- Minimum: 972 Pr; Maximum: 13,320 Pr. Destination : DDSP and DDJC. Items to be manufactured in accordance with MIL-B-6362F. Production lead time is 120 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued on an Unrestricted basis and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following factors: Product Demonstration Model (PDM), Past Performance/Experience, and Socio-economic. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Solicitation will be posted on https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ by April 30th, 2011. Detailed system requirements and instructions for registration can be found on the DLA DIBBS Home Page accessed on https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statues (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") imposed restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
