Solicitation Number:Q8304110101 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is Q8304110101, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park requires the following: E5 Motor Propane, delivered to specified locations. See below. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46 effective September 29, 2010. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 454312 - Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Bottled Gas) Dealers and the size standard is 50 employees. This RFQ is designated unrestricted competitive and available to both small and large businesses. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged, service disabled veteran owned, and women-owned business enterprises. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All interested small business must quote on delivery to all locations to be considered. DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service (Hawaii Volcanoes National Park) has a requirement for approximately 7,200 gallons of propane annually at multiple delivery locations. The estimated amount required from date of award to September 30, 2011 is 3,600 gallons. Vendors must be willing to deliver on a routine schedule and/or within two days of notification and in quantities of less than a full truckload. Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. The vendor shall safeguard government property, including facilities and vegetation, during the delivery process. DELIVERY LOCATIONS: Various facilities throughout the 14 offices and 13 residences within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park listed below. Maintenance Generator Tank (1 ea., 124 gallons), Dispatch Generator Tank (1 ea., 288 gallons), Water pressurization generator tank (1 ea., 1,000 gallon tank, located at rainshed), Visitor Emergency Operation Center, VEOC, (1 ea., 1150 gallon tank), (18 ea., park owned 288 gallon propane tanks, and 1 ea., 124 gallon tank in the residential/office complex) and can easily be reached by the driveway or roadway. One tank is located at the Entrance Station to the park. PRICE: The Government will only be obligated and shall only pay for actual quantities received. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Date of Award through September 30, 2011 with four, one year, option periods. INVOICE AND PAYMENT: The fixed unit price per gallon charged to the Government shall be no more than the unit price charged to the vendor's other commercial customers. The vendor may choose to provide an invoice for each delivery supported by copies of the delivery tickets/receipts. Payment will be made by electronic fund transfer (EFT).
