Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation/request for quote. This is a Request for Quotes and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 201110214. The NAICS for this requirement is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the Intercom Expansion System which includes the following specifications: Eight (8) headset wired local loop intercom expansion system for use in an aircraft environment Each of the Eight (8) headset interfaces must support: Microphone Inputs: • Selectable LIVE, VOX or push-to-talk (PTT) keyed operation. • Must accept 250µVrms / 5 ohm differential signals. • Sensitivity adjustment Headset Outputs: • Volume adjustment • Must drive 100mW at 8 or 600 ohms Headset adjustments for sensitivity and volume may require tools, for example, trim pot adjustment. Two (2) auxiliary audio inputs (1k ohms input impedance). Case must be bulkhead mountable. Quantity: 2 Each Delivery: 2 WARO or Less Place of delivery: Edwards Air Force Base, Edwards, CA Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements in this Request for Quotes are invited to submit in writing a complete quote package to include: Product description as it relates to the requirement above; and delivery schedule. Contractors must comply with FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A.
