- Statement of Work for Burner and Clean and Inspect Boiler Request for Quote Sheet COMBINED SYNOPSIS/ SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M3E90294A003 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50 effective 16 March 2011. (iv) This acquisition is being issued on an unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 333414 with a size standard of 500. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote to clean inspect provide and install Webster Burner according to the statement of work. A site visit will be conducted on Tuesday, 5 April 2011 at 10am EST. All contractors shall meet on the second floor of bldg 503, Charleston AFB. Please contact Johnny Scott at 843-963-3327 or johnny.scott@us.af.mil NLT 31 March 2011 at 4pm EST with the names of all people who plan to attend. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. The minimum salient characteristics are: • 208-3-60 Supply voltage • Full Modulation operation • Honeywell RM7840L Primary Control • CSD-1 & NFPA-85 Fuel Train • Step down Control Transformer • 24 x 24 Control Panel • Refractory Front Plate • Honeywell control Links Parallel Positioning System installed at Webster (vi) F1M3E90294A003: The contractor shall provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to clean inspect provide and install Webster Burner on Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. (See attached statement of work) (vii) FOB destination - Work must begin within five (5) calendar days of award and be completed within thirty (30) calendar days of award. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. Technical factors when combined are approximately equal to cost.
