- The Chalmers P. Wylie Veterans Affairs Ambulatory Care Center (VAACC), 420 North James Road, Columbus, OH 43219-1834 (VISN 10) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract for Physiatrist Services with Resident Supervision with our affiliate, Ohio State University (OSU) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Associated Physiatrists, 1036 Dodd Hall, 480 Medical Center Drive, Columbus, OH 43210-1245. The purpose of this contract is to provide a Physiatrist to perform evaluations, therapeutic treatments and improving the functional ability and quality of life of Veterans with congenital or acquired disabilities. The Physiatrist will also manage the rehabilitation of people with strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, perfomr electromyograms (EMGs) and nerve conduction studies, and other severely disabling conditions. The Contractor shall possess all licenses, accreditations, and certificates as required by local, state and federal law. The contract period will be six months. The Contractor shall provide all necessary Physiatrist Services with Resident Supervision in accordance with VA Directive 1663, Health Care Resources Contracting--Buying Title 38 U.S.C. 8153.
