- Presolicitation Notice for Hazardous and Non- Hazardous Waste, Transportation and Disposal in 48 states,Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. The Government will post a solicatation for full and open competition April 22nd 2011. The Government intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract for Services. The NAICS Code is 562211 The duration of the contract is anticipated to be for one (1) year from the date of an initial contract award and will include two (2) one (1) year Government options. A response to this Presolicitation Notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. A response to this Presolicitation Notice will not result in your firm's name being added to a plan holder's list to receive a copy of a solicitation. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic is seeking eligible business firms capable of Collection of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste, Transportation and Disposal in 48 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico composing of 173 Facilities locations as provided in attachment 1. The scope of work includes all management, supervision, labor, engineering services, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the required services including, but not limited to the following: Lithium battery deactivation and disposal, lead acid battery disposal, magnesium battery recycling or disposal, spill clean-up and contaminated soil disposal, non-hazardous oil contaminated bilge water disposal, oil water separator clean out, wash rack catch basin clean out, latex and oil based paint disposal, contaminated anti-freeze disposal, miscellaneous waste disposal requiring specialized handling, rag replacement services, blood borne pathogen disposal, and laboratory testing services.
