- Dallas-Fort Worth Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.5 to Pitney Bowes Inc. 1305 executive Blvd. Suite 200, Chesapeake, VA 23320. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) -- only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Pitney Bowes is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's requirements for postage metering system used by the Government. The Government intends to acquire a commercial service using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 12:00 DST on 28 April 2011. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent to Sole Source. POC for this action is Bistra Nast at bistra.nast@us.army.mil. No phone calls are accepted.
