Description
Wire Ties Solicitation The United States Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Marketing Service, Cotton and Tobacco programs has a requirement for wire bale ties. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The written solicitation, AG-4740-S-11-0006, is attached. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 332999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The period of performance for this contract is 60 months. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be awarded. The guaranteed minimum for this contract is 5,025 for 10 Gauge, 10' wire bale ties and 18,350 for 10 Gauge, 10'3' wire bale ties. All proposals must be received by May 11, 2011 at 1:00 pm central time. The proposal must include: Completed and signed copy of SF1449 (first and second page of this solicitation); Copy of the completed FAR 52.212-3 'OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL. You may complete the form included in this solicitation or you may complete the on-line version. The Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) are located on the internet and the site can be found by going to http://www.bpn.gov; Sample of the wire bales ties; and list of 3 prior contracts for the same or similar product/service. All proposals must be sent to Beverly Brown, USDA, AMS, Cotton & Tobacco Programs; 3275 Appling Road, Memphis, TN 38133.
