- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Area Procurement Office intends to issue on a sole source basis with EC America, Inc. for a quantity of 6 – 5 day remote NIOS Configuration and Advanced Administration Package and a quantity of 6 – 5 day on-site NIOS Configuration and Advanced Administration Package. The services required can only be performed EC America, Inc because they are the only GSA vendor for the Infoblox hardware and Infoblox training. The resulting purchase order will be for a three month period, with a period of performance from April 29, 2011 through July 29, 2011. The Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 10:00 am (CST) on April 22, 2011. Faxed and e-mailed statements are acceptable, but the senders bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. Any such statement of capabilities and qualifications received by the deadline will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
