Description
SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources. Response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor ™s expense. The Government is seeking qualified sources with specific, recent experience and past performance with the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes. NAICS 541512 and size standard $25M applies. The work to be performed is for non-personal technical support services and deliverable products required by Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) CIO for the development, implementation, and training of ITIL Continual Service Improvement (CSI) processes for the Activity, Information Management Infrastructure. The services required include project management, systems development, integration, communications, technical writing and training. The work includes, but is not limited, to develop, support, and document processes and process implementation plans for the CIO Service Desk Instantiation within the guidelines of ITIL v3. This will be accomplished by instantiating and improving the ITSM toolsets used by the supporting organizations aboard MCTSSA. The technical support services to be performed are organized into five areas: Toolset Configuration, Data Migration, Training, Maintenance, and ITSM Process Support. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Government ™s acquisition strategy. Responses shall explain in detail: (1) the contractor ™s specific and unique experience with continuous process improvement in Information Technology Service Management with demonstrated success in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) implementations, toolset configuration, data migration, training, and experience in Remedy, Microsoft SQL, Business Objects and Microsoft SharePoint. (2) a reference list of related ITSM contracts within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar value, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number; (3) information related to the contractor ™s business size and socioeconomic status; (4) the GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract number if the contractor has a GSA contract citing the applicable labor mixes that are authorized under the referenced GSA contract or other available Government contact vehicle; (5) a statement as to the capability of providing employees who possess the necessary skills and abilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
