Description
THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL-BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health, Environmental Hazards and Health Effects, Radiation Studies Branch intends to solicit and award a Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC), in accordance with FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation, for technical health physics support services. These services will be to assist the Radiation Studies Branch (RSB) to provide a ready source of technical expertise in the area of radiological public health and a range of other specialized public health and related physics services to respond to the ongoing and growing need for expertise in assessment of radiation exposure to both environmental and medical radiation sources. The RSB seeks advice and practical assistance from technical experts in radiological health and safety who can take on projects and credibly deliver a wide range of products. The projects are often a result of internal decisions and external directives, frequently with short deadlines for implementation. The associated NACIS Code is 541712. The resultant MATOC will be for 5 years consistng of a one-year base period and 4 one-year option periods. The contract anticipated period of performance will be 9/30/2011 thru 9/29/2016. The individual task orders will be Firm-Fixed-Price with varing periods of performance. All responses regarding the stated requirement shall be emailed to Wikiki Henton, Contract Specialist, at kfv5@cdc.gov. In addition, offerors shall include "RFP No. 2011-N-13050" in the subject line of the e-mail. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted to www.fbo.gov on or about 5/17/2011. Proposals for this requirement will be due on or about 6/19/2011. CDC will consider all responsible small business sources. Offerors are expected to download all documents concerning this requirement, as no hard copies will be mailed. Offerors are advised to frequently view www.fbo.gov website for updated postings.
