- This is a sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) "number of employees" as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.101 and (e) the amount of "annual receipts" as defined by the FAR part 19. Description: Bullex ERTE-02KB Kitchen & Bedroom Fire Safety Trailer, brand name or equal with the following features: Fire Safety Trailer system white in color, minimum of 26 foot long. - Tongue capable of receiving 2 5/16" ball and safety chains, not 5" Wheel style. - Crank down stabilizing jacks on all four corners. - Wired to operate all systems via generator or NEMA Style 125/225VAC 30 Amp system. - Two storage cabinet, one for portable generator, one general storage - Two training scenario rooms; one kitchen scenario, one bedroom scenario - Telephone equipped with dial tone, working buttons, and recordable message. - A smoke evacuation fan to remove training smoke and heat from the room. - A roof-mounted air conditioner. Fire Training scenario requirements: - Interactive and resettable digital fire displays with simulated smoke generation without use of fossil fuels or PPE. - Wireless handheld remote to control scenarios. - One fire extinguisher with laser technology to simulate the discharge of a fire extinguisher with on-board sound effects and rechargeable batteries that interacts with digital fire scenario props. - System shall be a clean system with no emission of odors or fire by products and shall be capable of being used indoors. - Scenario has the ability to start and grow dynamically based on the respond to actions of an interactive laser operated training fire extinguisher by the trainee The kitchen training room: - Fully interactive stovetop with oven with integrated digital flames, simulated smoke, and sound effects. - Fully interactive trashcan fire prop with digital flames, simulated smoke, and sound effects. - Fully intergraded smoking toaster and smoking electrical wall outlet. - Interactive overhead heaters - Kitchen cabinet, sink, table and mock window props. The bedroom training room scenario; - Heated and smoking door with temperature control - Wall with smoking electrical outlet - Two ways out; entry door and external mounted window ladder. The NAICS code of this procurement is 333319 and the business size of 500 employees and with a Federal Supply Class (FSC) of 4210. Place of Delivery: These services will be procured for and used by the Fire Department at Laughlin, AFB TX. FOB: Destination. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid nor Request for Proposal, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey.
