Description
This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound will be soliciting approximately 65 line items of various habitability furniture such as wardrobes, mirrors, sofas, berths, lockers, lavatory units, etc. Items to be negotiated on a 100% small business set-aside basis for shipboard habitability furniture in support of SRF Yokosuka, Japan. Specific information will be listed in the solicitation (N00406-11-T-0499) which will be posted to the NECO website on or about 04 May 2011 with a closing date of 18 May 2011. HABITABILITY REQUIREMENT: This requirement is for habitability furniture. All shipboard furniture shall be selected in accordance with the U.S. Navy Shipboard Furniture Catalog, (NAVSEA Publication No. S9600 AD GTP 010, Publication Stock No. 0910 LP 797 8900). Information concerning approved shipboard furniture may be obtained from this catalog. Online version is available at: https://90machinery.navsses.navy.mil/habitability/furniture/default.asp Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. A Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5, utilizing a Low Price, Technically Acceptable evaluation under Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Delivery anticipated for 30 days after award of contract. Terms will be FOB Origin through NOLSC for transportation to Japan. Each box/container must be identified/marked seperately. Specific shipping instructions will be issued at time of award. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
