- SUBJECT:Request for Quotation (RFQ) W912K6-11-Q- 1033 Maryland Army National Guard DATE:May 6, 2011 ISSUED BY:Julie Hitch USP&FO for Maryland Contracting Division 301 Old Bay Lane, State Military Reservation Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078-4094 RFQ DUE DATE: No Later Than 3:00 P.M., June 7, 2011 Eastern Standard Time. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: High Density, Movable Filing Systems and Accessories NAICS: 337215 SIZE STANDARD: 500 employeesFSC: 7125 PRODUCT AND INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: See Statement of Work in paragraph 11 below. Room configuration plans will be available during site visit. The date to begin installation is planned to be around 1 December 2011 after completion of construction of the two rooms; installation completion by 15 February 2012. DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION: Maryland Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) BLDG E4081, Weide Airfield Aberdeen Proving Ground-Edgewood Area, Maryland 21010 REQUIREMENTS: 1. Quote must adhere to requirements found in this RFQ. 2. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contract clause FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds applies to this RFQ. 3. This RFQ is set-aside for women-owned small business concerns in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.232-30 Notice of Total Set-Aside for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Concerns Eligible Under the WOSB Program. 4. Contractor should include any descriptive data, illustrations, specifications and/or drawings of the product being quoted. Product must be new and meet the salient physical, functional, and any performance characteristics as described in this RFQ. 5. "Best value" to the government will be determined in accordance with FAR 8.405-1(c ) (3), with emphasis on price, technical capability and past performance. Contractor should provide references for similar work previously completed to include point of contact, telephone number, contract number, dollar amount and location/delivery of work. 6. Contractor's final price will include all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, travel, freight, delivery and other associated costs to install shelving. 7. Site Visit. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at 10:30 A.M. The site is an active construction site and safety measures will be followed. Interested parties will meet Julie Hitch and SGT Jennifer Whitt in the parking lot and proceed to construction contractor's trailer. Safety helmet and vest will be worn if required. Notify Julie Hitch by email if you plan to attend the site visit; limit your group to two (2) attendees. 8. Timing Required, Supply quote with "___ DAYS after Receipt of Order". Contractor will consider time to begin installation so government does not incur storage costs. Installation should be priced as a separate line item based on timeframe indicated for installation. 9. Furnish and install two mobile shelving systems with tracks: i. One mobile shelving assembly in RM #154 furnish on the North end of the room between column lines 2 and 2a. Install one unit, approximately 20' deep (North to South) and 35' wide (East to West). ii. One mobile shelving assembly in RM #153 furnish on the South end of the room between approximately column lines 3A and 2b. Install one unit, approximately 25' deep (North to South) and 35' wide (East to West). b. All mobile shelves are to be mechanical assist with safety sweeps. c. End panels of mobile shelf units will identify separate groups of parts (CH47, UH60, UH 54) and office supplies. d. Each drawer and door unit will be equipped with locks and each lock will be keyed separately and master keyed. Each lock will have 2 pass keys and the installation will be supplied with 2 master keys. e. Quotes will include all labor, material, services, and necessary equipment for a complete and usable installation. f. Shelving installation will be coordinated at each location, not to interfere with the physical properties of the space (e.g. sloping floor, lights, ducts, sprinklers and any other construction in and around the area affected by this installation.
