- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is only an announcement; proposals are to be requested and a written solicitation will be issued. Solicitation Number is M00681-11-T-0096 and issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration. This requirement will be issued as unrestricted. This requirement is contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision as necessary to perform semi-annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) and as need repair services for the government owned Uninterrupted Power System (UPS) equipment for the telephone system located 20 sites at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California 92055 for a base year for the period of 01 June 2011 through 31 May 2011 with four (4) one-year options. All interested parties who believe that they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing the complete information describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services. Please include your company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS) number, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and company business status. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 811219 “ Other Electroic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, size: $7.0 mil. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), all solicitations will be limited to electronic medium using Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The address for downloading from the internet is https://neco.navy.mil. Downloading form the internet is free of charge; however some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective quoters are encouraged to register for the solicitation prior to downloading from the NECO website. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made from the NECO website. Only registered contractors will be notified by email when amendments are issued. All Quoters doing business with the government MUST register in the DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database prior to receipt of submittals. Failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for review and possible award. CCR registration may be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Additional information concerning CCR registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423. All firms must also be registered with the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website prior to receipt of submittals in order to be considered for award. This may be accomplished at http://orca.bpn.gov/. The single source of entry for all documentation pertaining to this acquisition will be on the government procurement website at the following address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. amendments issued, changes to Statement of Work, Etc).
