- Instructions RFQ The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, Florida, Contracting Office, intends to obtain the requirements for Food Service Items for our facility. This package contains all the necessary information for submitting a request for quote for evaluation. The contract period shall consist of the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2011 (July-October). Deliveries will be made to 110 Raby Ave, Pensacola, FL 32509. The contract type is a Firm-fixed price. Kosher items offered on this bid must be certified by a nationally accepted Orthodox Jewish Certification Agency. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose offer(s) conform to the solicitation and are considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: past performance, price comparison with other offers, and administrative cost. Price will be rated higher than past performance. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards. The solicitation will be made available solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of quotations is on Thursday, June 02, 2011, 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date of award is June10, 2011, with an effective award date of July 01, 2011. ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE LINE ITEM DESCRIPTIONS MAY CAUSE THE QUOTE TO BE DISQUALIFIED. Awards under the $30,000.00 threshold will be placed on the Government Purchase Card.
