- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for one Unitron GFC-90 ground power cart, 50 feet ofWIH-50 input cable and 30 feet of QOA-30M output cable, brand name or equal. The minimumsalient characteristics are as follows:-Standard Single High Voltage input 90 KVA mobile Power Kart series frequency converter,portable configuration (on wheels), rated as follows:*Input 480V, 3 phase, 50/60 Hz; maximum full load input current 50 amps*Output: 115 V L-N / 200 V L-L, 3 phase, 400 Hz, 90 KVA*Analog Control Panel*Built-in Maintenance Diagnostic System*First AC output contactor/universal (28 VDC or 115 VAC) aircraft safety interlockwithout cable*AC input safety disconnect contactor-Input Cable, 50', single jacket 3-conductor with ground for 380V and above VAC L-Lapplications and below, pigtailed and plug ready-Output Cable, 30', banded multiple conductor for 400 Hz unit, with aircraft plugThe solicitation will end at 4:30 pm local time on May 27, 2011.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than 4:00 pm local time on May 23, 2011. It is the quoter's responsibility tomonitor this site for the release of amendments (if any).
