Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: This is a pre-solicitation for a single or multiple contractors to supply an estimated 3,670 tons of 1- 1/4" minus crushed rock (gravel), based on delivery locations to the Olympic National Park. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Offerors are strongly encouraged to check for amendments to this pre-solicitation notice. This procurement will be advertised under Full and Open competition, and solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public law 100-656 and is open to both small and large businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 212321 with an associated small business size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation with specifications will be posted to the websites http:///www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 30th with a response date 30 days thereafter. This solicitation will result in an award of a firm, fixed-price contract. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. We anticipate the solicitation will be posted on or after May 30th, 2011. All questions pertaining to this announcement MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING by email to ed_mckee@nps.gov or faxed to 360-565-3018. All response to the solicitation must be mailed or emailed. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
