- Small Businesses Sources Sought: This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking only qualified Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business and/or other socioeconomic (8a/HubZone/SDVOSB) set aside action for this acquisition. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Ft Dix, NJ intends to procure services for the Employee Assistance Program at Fort Hamilton, NY. The services to be performed include group training and individual counseling regarding personal and job-related matters to approximately 450 civilian employees and their family members assigned to USAG Fort Hamilton, NY. Contractor duties include, but are not limited to, alcohol/drug abuse, trauma, mental illness, relationship/family conflicts, financial, stress, and job problems counseling. Attached is a draft Performance Work Statement. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract to the successful offeror of this requirement. The period of performance is for a base year period of twelve (12) months and may or may not include up to four (4) option years. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The designated NAICS Code is 621420, with a small business size standard of $10 million. Your response shall include the following information: socioeconomic status of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), company CAGE code, relevant past performance on same/similar work in the last three years (include contract number, dollar value, and contracting officer and customer name, phone number, and email address. Responses shall be limited to 2 pages and emailed to Lorraine.carruba@us.army.mil no later than (NLT) 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, 16 May 2011. Any questions shall be directed to Lorraine Carruba, Contract Specialist, via email at Lorraine.carruba@us.army.mil IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE IN A SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Additionally, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications, offerors are also reminded to register with Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
