- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-11-R-0165 is being issued as a request for quote for 60 (qty), 17 inch Ruggedized Black Box Computers for the US Army Research Development & Engineering Command (RDECOM), Software Engineering Directorate (SED). The Target date of delivery will be 15 Jun 2011. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. Specifications: Qty 60 of the Ruggedized Black Box Computers 17" ruggedized black box LCD: 17" TFT LCD Power Supply: 600W - Auto Switch ATX Power Supply CPU: Core i7 3.06GHz Motherboard: Intel Core i7 Motherboard Fan: CPU Fan with Heat Pipe Video: Geforce GTX 1GB Video Card HDD: 500GB SATA HDD Memory: 6GB DDR3 Patriot PC3 8500 FDD: None OPTICAL: DVDRW Drive Built in: Built in LAN, Built in Audio Keyboard: 101 Rubber Keyboard OS: Windows 7 Pro - 64bit Controller: 2 x RS232 PCI-e Controller card PCI-e CD-6: Proprietary 6" L-shaped DVI TO VGA Cable All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks from award date. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items, The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered; Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; Clause 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; Clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions; and Clause 52.232-7003 Army Electronic Invoicing Instructions, are applicable to this acquisition, other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in accordance with DFARS 252.232-7003. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 pm (CST), 23 May 2011, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B140, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. In the event multiple quotes are received evaluation will be lowest price, technically acceptable. Electronic quotes are preferred, but fax quotes will be accepted.
