- Description
- The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Pacific Northwest Regional Office has a requirement for services needed to design and construct a multi-purpose building for our Black Canyon Field Office at Black Canyon Dam in Idaho. The project site is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Emmet, Idaho in Gem County. The building will house six personnel engaged in administrative activities full time with a multi-purpose room to house approximately 85 occupants for training and meetings. The office building and its related systems shall be designed and built in order to obtain a "Silver" Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design version 3.0 (LEED) rating. Additionally, offerors will have to comply with the Department of Interior's Guiding Principles for New Construction. BOR intends to issue a two phase design-build type procurement for this requirement. Selection procedures will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 36.3, Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price type contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three one-year accounting periods. The order of magnitude for this procurement is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. This procurement will be awarded using the negotiated procedures set forth in FAR part 15. This procurement is being set-aside for small business concerns. Proposals will be accepted from all responsible and responsive small business concerns.
