- : NSN 2540-01-314-0142 - Winterization Kit,V being bought in accordance with AM General, LLC (34623) P/N 5705611. Request for Proposal (RFP) #SPM7L211R0064 originally closed on May 2, 2011; but will be reopened with a new closing date of July 12, 2011. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The total being procured is 100 kits, with 40 kits to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and 60 kits to be shipped to (W62G2T) Tracy, CA 95304-5000. There is a 20% option for up to 20/ea that may or may not be utilized. See the solicitation for FOB, Inspection/Acceptance and delivery. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the approximate issue date of 06/08/2011. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, proposed delivery, Socioeconomic, and Ability One. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
