- Description
- Request for Information This is a Presolicitation, Request for Information (RFI). This is GSA's first outreach intended to engage industry in an exchange of ideas that will assist us in refining our service requirements and structuring the pending procurement for GSA's Enterprise IT Management program. The GSA OCIO is responsible for the GSA Enterprise IT Management ( EITM) solution and architecture. EITM is responsible for providing management control across the enterprise by integrating and automating the management of IT applications, databases, networks, security, storage, and systems across departments and disciplines to realize the full potential of each integrated solution and the business services it supports. EITM enables the GSA OCIO to unify and simplify IT management across their enterprise for greater business results, and have comprehensive visibility into the quality, costs and risks for the services they provide. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI will be treated as business confidential information, and exempted from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses, accordingly, if the information is considered to be confidential or proprietary. Responses to the RFI will not be returned nor is it GSA's intent at this phase to exchange information or to provide feedback to your responses. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot/will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Please note, this is an opportunity for interested parties to provide meaningful feedback to the GSA, OCIO in the early stages of the need definition. This should not be viewed as a marketing opportunity, but as an opportunity for good corporate citizenship to show your best interest in a more effective and efficient government. Thoughtful participation is encouraged.
