Description

Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award Sole Source to Ehmke Manufacturing Company, located at 4200 Macalester St., Philadelphia, PA. The items to be procured are VIP KITS for the CH-46 Helicopters for HMX1, sold exclusively by this vendor under NACIS Code 314912. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 2 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received by 10:00 AM, EST, 24 May 2011 that warrants a competitive procurement. Vendor capabilities can be submitted via the following methods: E-mail to diana.joseph@usmc.mil. The subject line on the e-mail must clearly identify this notice number. Vendors bear the burden of ensuring that their information reaches the designated Contract Specialist. This purchase will be under Sole Source Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.303-2. The anticipated award date is 1 June, 2011.
