Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for laundry equipment at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN. The VA is seeking sources for a government acquisition to provide: One (6) Ea. Garment Exchange System (Uniform); Furnish and install 6 (ea), microprocessor controlled garment exchange systems with incorporated soiled garment deposit bins. Garment Exchange Systems shall be in accordance with performance specification on the follow to be provided on the RFP SOW; Contractor shall submit two sets of materials and training prepared in CD or DVD format on each piece of equipment for operation and maintenance. Separate training materials shall be made for operation and maintenance and shall not be combined. The applicable NAICS code is 333312. Award will be based on Best Value. This acquisition is RESTRICTED to small businesses. Pre Solicitation notice number M6-Q4-11 will be posted until June 13, 2011. RFP Solicitation documents and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about January 2011. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation M6-Q4-11.Offerors will have 30 calendar days to submit their quote once RFP has been posted by the National Acquisition Center National Contracts by close of business CST 4:00pm. Hard copies will not be available and no written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. Offers must be hand-carried or mailed to: National Acquisition Center (001AL-A2-3a), National Contracts Division, P.O. Box 76, Building 37, 1st Avenue, One block North of 22nd Street, Hines, IL 60141, to the ATTN: of Mr. Marlon Powell Contract Specialist. All interested parties must be registered in VETS 100 per Title 38, USC, Section 4212(d), and with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. CCR must be obtained before award can be made.
