- This is a notice of intent to award procurement to San Diego Community College at 8:00 PST Friday, May 20, 2011. San Diego Community College, 1313 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101. Estimated award $33,553.60 This award is a firm-fixed price type contract for the purchase of services for the Emergency Medical Technician Training Course for (20) Marines at MCAS Miramar (San Diego, CA) and (20) training certificates. This Notice Of Intent to Award is based on immediate mission need that meets the criteria of other than full and open competition cited in FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and compelling urgency. This Notice of Intent to Award is not a request for Expressions of Interests (EOIs), proposals or quotes. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. According to the Small Business Administration, San Diego Community College is classified as a large business. It is the priority of MCAS Miramar to encourage Small Business participation in all awards. Interested persons, especially Small Business concerns, may identify their interest and capability to respond to any future requirements, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services or supplies sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the Government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror's ability to meet all requirements. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements if the need arises. EOIs sent via the US Postal Service should be mailed to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, PO Box 452007, San Diego, CA 92145-2007. EOIs sent via Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to MCAS Miramar Contracting Office, Bldg 8761, Obregon Rd, San Diego, CA 92145 during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and other than full and open competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
