- This amendment 0001 to the draft solicitation for the Fort Irwin Installation Support Services is issued to make the following change(s): 1.The Fort Irwin Site Visit has been confirmed for June 9, 2011. This is a firm date. Visitor Passes: Each individual attending the site visit will have to fill out the Temporary Pass Form and fax it to the Visitor Information Center at (760) 380-6073 no later than June 5, 2011. The Temporary Pass Form can be found on the MICC Center-Yuma website at http://www.yuma.army.mil/site_contracting.asp. Please annotate in the vehicle description box if you will be using a rental car or if you will be a vehicle passenger. Prior to entering Ft. Irwin, attendees will be issued a temporary pass for their vehicles at the Visitor Information Center which is located before the security checkpoint. All vehicle drivers will be required to show a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and registration, or the rental agreement at the Visitor Information Center. Vehicle passengers will be required to present a valid government issued ID card (such as a valid driver's license or other ID card). Location: Reggie's at Fort Irwin, CA (after signing in at Visitor's Center, follow the "EVENT" signs to Reggie's parking lot.) Time: Plan for this to be a full day event. Registration (and pay for lunch) 0730 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) - 0830 PDT Government presentation starts at 0830 PDT Lunch - following Government presentation Bus Tour - following lunch Lunch: There will be a lunch held at Reggie's after completion of Government presentations. If interested in attending, please indicate each individual's lunch choice (#1; #2; or #3), when you submit the names for those attending the Site Visit. The lunch choices can be found on the MICC Center-Yuma website. Pictures: Do not take pictures from individual vehicles. However, you may take pictures during the tour from the bus or while walking with the group. Please submit, in writing, Company Name, Address, Phone Number and the names of individuals attending the site with their lunch choice to the point of contact identified below or fax them to (928) 328-6534 no later than close of business June 1, 2011. Companies are limited to four (4) attendees.
