- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intents to procure lawn and grounds maintenance service for USACE Antilles Office Compound, 400 Fernandez Juncos Avenue, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform these services. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Period of Performance will be for one base year of 12 months with four option years of 12 months each. Prospective bidders must bid on the base year and all option years. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offers whose proposal, conforming to this Request for Proposal (RFP), will be most advantageous to the Government. This acquisition is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 561730; Small Business Size Standard is $7.5 Millions. Solicitation W912EP-11-R-0043 will be issued on or about 6 June 2011 and offers due date on or about 16 June 2011. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at https://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. There is a VENDOR USER GUIDE available on the FedBizOpps website. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any changes to this solicitation. In addition, in order to generate a Plan Holders List, all interested bidders must also REGISTER AS INTERESTED VENDOR which is also located on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Registration Requirements: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation. Information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense CCR database prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
