- The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000 dollars. This project will require the repair of the failed and failing components of existing Basic Starship Barracks Building Number 5955 Fort Sill Army Base, OK. Project repairs domestic water, Sanitary sewer, and gas distribution systems; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; lighting and electrical systems; interior finishes and furnishings to include walls, ceilings floors, doors stairwells, and exterior surfaces; expand latrines, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms; remove mold, lead based paint, asbestos, and other hazardous materials encountered; provides seismic mitigation; installs new standing see metal roof; provides sprinkler fire protection, energy management & control systems (EMCS), and other sustainable design features; and address anti terrorism measures with blast resistant windows and standoff methods.
