Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego intend to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 to Mercury Marine, W6250 Pioneer Road, Fond du Lac, WI 54936-1939. The proposed contract is for the purchase of several boat parts to repair RHIB Boats. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by Friday, June 10, 2011, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, via email or fax.
