Description
FOR ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Chi Chung Chang, RDER-PRA-GD, (443)395-4774 chichung.m.chang.civ@mail.mil This is a Market Survey to locate sources for 10 kW Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Generator Sets. The Army has a performance specification and detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units, however, the technical data package has become deficient due to parts obsolescence. The Technical Data Package defines Generator Set, Diesel Engine, NSN: 6115-01-431-3062, CECOM P/N: 13230E6218, (CAGE CODE: 97403). The technical data package and performance specification will be provided upon request. APU Generator Sets that maximize use of existing parts in the Technical Data Package is highly desired. This contractual effort is for a five (5) year flexible long term contract with a minimum order quantity of 120 units. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRA-GD, Building 5100 Magazine Road, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD 21005. The response should include economic order quantities, minimum and maximum monthly unit production capability, production lead time, estimated first article development costs, estimated production unit cost, estimated time to develop and deliver a First Article test APU, estimated time to complete testing, information and test data on similar equipment you have manufactured, number of years part will be available or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the APUs. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
