Description

Title : Gravel and Riprap for road maintenance at Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Division of Contracting and General Services plans to issue a Request for Proposal Solicitation number F11PS00679. The RFQ will be posted on or about 06/08/2011. This requirement is to supply Gravel "Superflex" road base and Riprap for maintenance for the Balcones National Wildlife Refuge. This RFQ will be advertised as a Total Small Business set-aside. We are seeking but, not limiting the procurement to certified Small Business contractors in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 212319 - "Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying". When posted, all Material descriptions will be available for download via the National Business Center (NBC) website http://ideasec.nbc.gov/j2ee/login.jsp, use the quick search box to access the solicitation by number. Postings will also be linked to the NBC via the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov.
