Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Office of Acquisition and Logistics, National Acquisition Center, Business Resource Service, Bldg 37, Hines, IL is conducting market research to identify potential sources for Air Conditioning Build-Out for Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) - Emergency Pharmacy Service (EPS). The project is located at VA Service and Distribution Center (VA SDC), Building 37, on the Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Hospital Campus, south of the Loyola University Medical Center along 1st Avenue, in the southwest corner of 1st Avenue and 17th Street, Hines/Maywood, IL. The project encompasses the installation of perimeter walls within a warehouse space in order to enclose an approximately 17,200 square foot area. The project also includes the installation of HVAC equipment in order to provide temperature control of the area. The project is needed to effectively control the temperature of the enclosed space in order to facilitate the storage of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical product. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced and posted on this website at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award. This Sources Sought Notice is to gain market knowledge of aforementioned services and potential small business sources and their size classifications: HubZone, 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Business, Veteran Owned Business and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business relative to North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 236220. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number; maximum bonding capacity. Information shall be sent to james.wenzbauer2@va.gov by close of business June 15, 2011. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220.
