Description

Notice of Intent: The Martinsburg VA Medical Center, VISN 5, in accordance with Public Law 109.461, intends to award a SDVOSB set-aside. If a SDVOSB does not meet the requirement, a VOSB set-aside may be awarded according to IL049-07-08 and 38 U.S.C. § 8127.This is a direct requirement for the Environmental Management Services at the Department of Veterans Affairs, WV, 25405. NAICS Code 561720 applies and the Size Standard is $16.5 million. The Period of Performance will be for a base of seven (3) months with two options years estimated from the date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offerors. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice (VA-245-11-RQ-0151) must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM (EST) on June 13th 2011. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
