Description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ANNOUNCEMENT TO ASCERTAIN WEBSITE ADDRESS TO DOWNLOAD PROJECT DOCUMENTS AND PROJECT DETAILS. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. Electronic copies of the solicitation will be available to download on the National Business Center website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) without further notice on or about June 27, 2011. Work of the base quote consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and replace asphalt shingles to create a watertight condition on a low pitch gable roof on a one-story building with an option to remove and replace asphalt shingles to create a watertight condition on a low pitch hip roof on another one-story building. There is also a line item option to replace/repair plywood portions of the wood sub roofs as necessary. Both buildings are located at the Highlands Center at Cape Cod National Seashore, Old Dewline Rd, Truro, MA. Options, not exercised at time of award, may be exercised any time prior to completion of base item and additional time for work performance will be allowed. Award will be made to lowest quoter for base quote plus all options. A site visit is highly advisable for accurate estimation of the conditions of this project; information for the site visit will be set forth in the project documents. Construction performance period is 60 calendar days. Estimated construction range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code 238160. The small business size standard is $14.0M. This solicitation is a small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote. Responses will be due approximately 3 weeks following issuance of solicitation.
