Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 VA Healthcare System plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition for an Advanced Multi-Modality Option for SecurView (DX) and Application Synchronization Module for SecurView (DX), a SVDX Workstation computer upgrade, and a standard array replacement, all in support of the Selenia (registered trademark) Digital Mammography unit, as well as initial applications training on the SecurView (DX). The Selenia (registered trademark) Digital Mammography unit is located in Hampton, VA. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The NAICS code is 334517 and the Classification code is 6515. The suggested Vendor is Hologic Incorporated, 35 Crosby Drive, Bedford, Massachusetts, 01730-1411. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include the technical specification of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time. Response close date is June 14, 2011. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
